Finalists for the HSJ Partnership Awards
We are finalists again…we are delighted to announce that we are continuing our success at the Learning Technology Awards. We have been nominated for the HSJ Partnership Award for ‘Best Educational Programme for the NHS’ through our collaboration with Ipsen to deliver our award winning programme to a group of oncological pharmacists in the UK, all members of BOPA. The competition is tough including well established names like the BMJ and Health Education England. However we are keeping our fingers crossed that the innovation and impact of the programme will push us forward.
It was an amazing experience to deliver, working with truly passionate partners to support an incredibly engaged group of healthcare professionals. Hearing how the experience has impacted their clinical engagement has been truly inspirational.
“I feel that this will really improve my practice. In a busy hospital, it can be quite easy to distance yourself from the reality of what patients go through. This experience will make me think more about the experience of patients in between their treatments and how they cope with it. I will be able to empathise even more with them in the future.”

Working in the NHS, The King’s Fund, the BBC, and as a Founder of the Patient Information Forum, Mark endeavours to make healthcare more person-centric. As the Chief Patient Officer for MD Healthcare, he works with organisations such as AstraZeneca, Diabetes UK, Google Health, Innovate UK, JnJ, Macmillan Cancer Support, Microsoft, Pfizer, Novartis and Siemens Healthineers to harness digital health, develop markets and improve patient engagement.
