We’re so excited to announce…

We can’t believe that we have already delivered our patient focused experiences to over 10, 000 people!

A Life in a Day came to into being out of the belief that life sciences and healthcare are best when patients are put at its heart. With this milestone we can confirm that at least 10000 people not only agree but are actively patient focused.

New Experiences

We are continually striving to deliver real-world patient experiences from a range of therapy areas and 2022 saw the launch of the following experiences:

  • Breast Cancer
  • Lung Cancer
  • Diabetes (type 2)
  • Severe Asthma
  • Atopic Dermatitis
  • Injectable Biologics

Proven Results

This year our experiences have also delivered on average, a 43.16 percent increase in understanding of the disease and a 16.22 percent increase in empathy. They have also delivered real results, as outlined from some of our feedback:

“As a result of this experience we are now developing patient and caregiver educational materials on how to better take care of their skin, understand the disease and thus be more compliant to the treatment.”

Andrea, Global Medical Lead, Switzerland

“After quarter of a century of treating patients, this is the first time in my whole career I have been through a programme that helps me to truly understand the burden of the disease.”

Dr Thomas Barber, Associate Professor and Honorary Consultant Endocrinologist, UK

“The experience was very intense for me. It felt even more real than I had expected it could be. I now see the individual patient in front of my eyes, when I’m sitting at my desk. Behind all clinical data are real persons.”

Director Global Patient Advocacy

“It really gives us the power boost to look beyond the often-rationalized HCP perspective and focus on the core issue, the effect the disease actually has on the day-to-day quality of life.”

Franchise Head, Immunology

Recommended for HCP’s

Additionally, a report by UKONS and BOPA showcased the power of A Life in a Day amongst healthcare professionals. The impacts of ‘A Life in a Day’ go beyond increasing empathy to encourage practical change.

When we launched A Life in a Day we weren’t sure how Useful HCP’s would find it given that they are working with patients on a daily basis. So this recommendation is a huge validation that it is relevant to everyone working in life sciences and healthcare.

Looking Forward

Our creative team are continuing our work with patients to create a patient-first industry and 2023 will see even more experiences for the pharma and healthcare industries including clinical trials, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and further oncological areas.
