It is reported that over 7.74 million people globally were living with sickle cell disease (WHO, 2021) yet it can often be misunderstood. Our latest A Life in a Day experiences were built to help raise awareness, insight and empathy – and Jaja’s contributions helped us take a step towards doing just that.
