Emma is a Consultant Oncology Pharmacist at the Royal Marsden, Chair of the British Oncology Pharmacy Association (BOPA), and Biosimilars Taskforce Chair for the International Society of Oncology Pharmacy Practitioners (ISOPP).​

Emma’s specialist clinical areas are RCC, melanoma and GI cancers, and systemic anticancer treatment in general. She also have a keen interest in global health and in particular improving access to cancer medicines in low- and middle-income countries. Emma has been an avid supporter of A Life in a Day since it’s inception.​

Trishna Bharadia, BA(hons), MFPM(hon) is a multi-award winning health advocate and patient engagement consultant who also lives with several chronic conditions, including multiple sclerosis. Based in the UK, she works nationally and internationally with multiple stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem, including the pharma industry, digital health companies, academia, clinicians and charities/patient associations to better embed the patient voice throughout the healthcare journey and medicines development lifecycle. ​

She is a patron/ambassador for several health- and disability-related organisations, is a Visiting Lecturer on patient engagement at King’s College London university and sits on numerous steering groups, committees and governance boards. ​

Particular areas of interest include good patient engagement practice and diversity issues in healthcare. 

Among her various accolades, Trishna has been awarded honorary membership to the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine (Royal Colleges of Physicians) and in 2022 was named a PharmaVoice100 honoree, both for her outstanding contributions to the life sciences industry. Mark Duman MRPharmS brings over 30 years of clinician, management consultant and patient perspectives to the healthcare, life sciences and digital health sectors. Working in the NHS, The King’s Fund, the BBC, and as a Founder of the Patient Information Forum, Mark endeavours to make healthcare more person-centric. As the Chief Patient Officer for MD Healthcare, he works with organisations such as AstraZeneca, Diabetes UK, Google Health, Innovate UK, JnJ, Macmillan Cancer Support, Microsoft, Pfizer, Novartis and Siemens Healthineers to harness digital health, develop markets and improve patient engagement.

Professor of Gastroenterology at Manchester and Northern Care Alliance and Clinical Lead of the National Intestinal Failure Reference Centre. He was involved in helping to develop the ‘In Their Shoes@ App for Short Bowel Syndrome and Intestinal Failure and has subsequently evaluated the App amongst multi-disciplinary colleagues using pre and post App experience, focus groups and in-depth qualitative interviews. Linda has 20 years of global operating C-suite experience, including start-ups (she led the growth of Citeline, a provider of real-time R&D intel to pharma, to $7m of revenue before being acquired by Informa), commercializing subscription businesses, and serving on advisory boards.
