At A Life in a Day, we care about the environment and want to ensure our carbon footprint is reduced where possible. The items included in our packs are designed to be environmentally conscious, recyclable and reusable when possible. With this in mind, we encourage participants to recycle, reuse or dispose of the items in any packs in a manner that is friendly to our planet.   

In addition, we have committed to ensuring the delivery of our packs are carbon positive. For each parcel shipped, the carbon is offset by supporting the plantation of seagrass around the world.

Seagrass is vital for not only marine life, clean oceans, and the health and wellbeing of millions of lives. But it *can capture carbon up to 35 times faster than tropical rainforests and, even though it covers less than 1% of the seafloor, it globally accounts for 10-18% of total ocean carbon storage.
